The Division of Computer Science and Engineering offers a part-time and full-time articulated
MPhil-PhD programmes in Computer Science and Engineering. This programme consists of two
research oriented streams: MPhil and PhD. All full-time research students will receive financial
support during their normative study period. Please refer to other sections of this prospectus
for our research activities. We have many research groups that are very active and of sizes
critical for discussion and information assimilation. Our graduates distinguish themselves in
their careers or further studies both locally and overseas.
Part-time and full-time MSc programme in Computer Science are also offered. Graduates of this
2-year part-time and 1-year full-time programme will have sufficient knowledge and experience to
be capable of applying their expertise in the context of a higher research degree, or of
continuing to contribute effectively and take a leading role in the workplace.
